Marco handles civil litigation and administrative proceedings both domestically and internationally. He has gained extensive experience in the areas of company law, commercial contracts, patents and competition law. He also has experience in advising clients on contractual and strategic matters related to domestic and cross-border operations, particularly in intellectual property matters.
Marco joined Spheriens in April 2023. Among his previous experiences, he worked at the law firm of Prof. Marco S. Spolidoro in Milan from 2017 to 2023 and did an internship at the Italian Competition Authority from 2010 to 2011.
Marco has been lecturer of Patents and Trade Marks at the Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna since 2019. Previously, he was a lecturer of “Diritto industriale e della concorrenza” (IP and unfair competition) at Università di Verona from 2014 to 2018 and a post-doc researcher at the Faculty of Law of the Università Cattolica of Milan from 2015 to 2021. He also spent research periods abroad at Columbia University of New York in 2013 and at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in 2014 and 2019.
Marco regularly holds lessons at the Master course in Fashion e Luxury Law – MiFeLL organized by Università Cattolica of Milan, as well as lectures and seminars within other university courses and masters.
Marco has contributed to the work of international and national journals, including IIC-International Review of Intellectual Property and Competition Law and “Giurisprudenza Annotata di Diritto Industriale”.
