Gabriele Lazzeretti

Partner

Gabriele is a founding partner of the firm. He handles mainly criminal litigation involving intellectual property rights and has taken part in important trials that have established new landmarks in criminal case law. Gabriele also handles anticounterfeiting work and has extensive experience in civil litigation and extrajudicial matters, as well as in administrative proceedings before the Italian PTO (Patent and Trademark Office) and the EUIPO (European Intellectual Property Office).

In 2009, Gabriele was one of the founding partners of Siblegal, now Spheriens. From 1996 to 2008, he worked in the Florence office of the consulting firm SIB (Società Italiana Brevetti), contributing to the establishment and development of the legal department headed by Pier Luigi Roncaglia.

Gabriele is a lecturer at the Scuola Nazionale di Polizia Tributaria and regularly holds courses and seminars on anticounterfeiting. For over ten years he has contributed to the International Annual Review of the journal The Trademark Reporter® and is currently a member of the EU Subcommittee of the Anticounterfeiting Committee of INTA (International Trademark Association), of the Commission des droits étrangers di APRAM (Association des Praticiens du Droit des Marques et des Modèles), of ECTA (European Communities Trade Mark Association) and of AROPI (Association Romande de Propriété Intellectuelle).
